Fourth World Possible Fashion

2009

Fourth World Possible Fashion is imagined as a utopian settlement of post-apocalyptic survival. Additionally, it explores the space of escape as a sculptural object or as a space suit. As a survival pod it is conceived to be life supporting and able to endure until the flood subsides. While the deluge rages, habitants can calmly do crafts in the safety of the structure. Once the storm is over, survivors can chose to congregate and connect in community or continue to drift in a solitary fashion. This half scale version is made from recycled agricultural salt bags, reclaimed plywood second hand blanket, vinyl and bungee cord.[/vc_column_text][outdoor_portfolio_nav show_all=”yes” all_link=”http://garymarkle.com/”][/vc_column][vc_column el_class=”full-height cusres vis-info” css=”.vc_custom_1445936069638{padding-right: 0px !important;}”][outdoor_home_horizontal][outdoor_home_horizontal_item content_style=”folio” slideimg=”660″]
